Absolutely! Our moulding material is completely baby-safe, non-toxic, and designed specifically for delicate newborn skin. It’s been tested and approved for use with babies from birth onwards.

3D casting is a process where we create a highly detailed sculpture of your hands or feet using a safe moulding material, then cast it in stone-like plaster to capture every detail—lines, fingerprints, and texture.

The moulding process usually takes 3–5 minutes. The full session, including setup and guidance, takes about 15–30 minutes.

Not at all. The material feels cool and slightly firm as it sets, but it’s completely painless.

Finished casts are usually ready within 7–14 working days, depending on the size, style, and finish chosen.

We can cast:

  • Newborns and babies
  • Children(up to 12)

Tiny hands and feet create the most precious keepsakes that you’ll treasure forever.

Yes! We offer a professional in-home casting service within the Cape Town area for your convenience.

We service most areas in and around Cape Town. However, for safety reasons, there are certain areas we do not service. If you’re unsure whether your area is covered, please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability.

The safety of our team and clients is very important to us. Unfortunately, this means we may decline in-home bookings in certain areas.

DIY casting allows you to create your own 3D hand or foot cast at home using one of our casting kits. You do the moulding and casting yourself by following our step-by-step instructions.

The moulding material is single-use, so it cannot be reused once set. While mistakes don’t often happen when instructions are followed, we do recommend purchasing extra materials if you’d like peace of mind. Extra refill packs may be available on request.
